Dashwood cotton fabric – Jardin Anglais - Birds on a light muted green background.
This 100% cotton fabric is designed by Pippa Shaw for Dashwood Studios and features birds flying across a muted soft green background with subtle peach dot detailing. This is an exceptionally beautiful but difficult fabric to photograph. The manufacturer's picture has been included to show their representation of the green and more clearly show the peach dots. The reality of the colour seems to sit somewhere between manufacturers and my images. It has richer, greener hues than the photo showing the scale but is not quite as strong in green tone as Dashwood depict. The peach dot detailing is noticeable, but very subtle.
This is a beautiful quality cotton that would work perfectly for quilting and patchworking. It can also be used for crafting such as clothes making, and bag making.
Fabric is sold in multiples of 0.5 metres and the price shown is per half metre. So if you need a metre, add a quantity of 2 to your basket. Multiples of fabric purchased will be supplied in one continuous length.
